i am not a very strong writer i need to say that now, WHY ISNT POT LEGAL IN ALL THE STATES?? california made 12-15 BILLION dollars off their medicinal marijuana… man i wish i knew the statistics of how many deaths are caused by alcohol every year or even every day, im sure the deaths in one day, would be more than marijuana related deaths in the whole year.. does the government even think about that? or even imagine what its like for some people that have severe anxiety or eating disorders in which pot relieves their issues.. does alcohol help with anything???????? no it kills people.. everyday, all day long… people dont even have to drink and they can die from it..(d,u,i).. i am in a family where my parents have to have a beer so they can go to sleep.. DOES THE GOVERNMENT THINK ABOUT THAT? OR JUST THE MONEY MADE OFf POISON EVERY DAY. im sure there are a few reasons why pot (which helps people) is illegal and alcohol that kills people a few times a minute is sold in every store. i was wondering if someone could do a story on the reasons pot isnt legal? if you want to say something bad about pot dealers or growers look at anheiser bush or budweiser their factories pollute and is dispersed to “middle men” just the same.. please reply maybe a list of statistic that i havent found on the internet…

Hope we’ll meet at the buttom-line that it is not the drugs that should be blamed, but the people who use it in excessive dosage. Prohibited drugs can never be named not until people begun using it to some estranged manners. More and more become victims, not of drugs but of theirselves.

Even if true, I think you’re making my point for me, DB, that rather than addressing the substance of the report, you’re taking the emotional shortcut—now painting Richard Silverstein with a broad brush. (That’ll teach him to f*** with us!) So whether it was Omar Ceren or Avigdor Lieberman who originally came up with the idea, which one originally said it, and whether the other repeated it… all pretty meaningless now.

I trust HRW to be an objective reporter, in general, on human rights, because human rights is their raison d’être. I see no reason why they should care about Israel or the PLO or the US or any country or political organization above any other. Furthermore, I know that governments and quasi-governments always distort military reports to make themselves look better and their so-called enemies look worse. (And have done so for as long as governments have waged war.) And your spitting out a bunch of names and unsubstantiated accusations (without so much as a citation), that doesn’t change my opinion. Nor should it.

In any case, the point remains that the situation itself is way more complicated than that. Emotional frenzy shortcut.

Well, that will teach you to trust Richard Silverstein. As you can easily look up for yourself, the source of the story about Garlasco’s “hobby” was blogger Omri Ceren at Mere Rhetoric, not the Israeli foreign ministry.

Garlasco’s Nazi obsession joins HRW Middle East director Sarah Leah Whitson’s pre-HRW history of anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian activism, and deputy director Joe Stork’s pre-HRW 20 year plus history of intense hostility to Israel, in raising the question as to why anyone should trust HRW to be an objective investigator of Israel’s human rights practices. Surely, an organization trying to be “objective” could find folks interested in human rights who have not taken public sides in the conflict and don’t have creepy Nazi-related hobbies.

We now know that the arresting officer in the Confidential Informant case was in fact Officer Travland. The reason he didn’t want his participation to be revealed during the Defendant’s trial is that his arrest report on the Confidential Informant case proves that evidence reported seized at the Confidential Informant arrest (specifically a zippered pouch) ended up in the Defendants property invoice three days after her arrest.

Weed as well as shrooms should be legal, sold in stores and taxed. Then take all the tax money and other money saved from not enforcing these laws and open more drug treatment centers. When people get caught with hardcore drugs instead of jail, make them go to treatment and maybe loss of licence. If everything was legal and sold at the store it would be hard to resist buying some hardcore shit every now and then. At the sametime we’re taking people who are nonviolent drug users and instead of helping them, we throw them in jail and they turn into real criminals after a few years. It amazes me that I can go to the store right now and legally buy a glock .40mm and bottle of tequila but if I want some weed I have to go to a drug dealer. I can tell you right now that me with a joint is FAR less dangerous to society than me with a gun and some hard liquor. I don’t own guns or drink hard liquor but I’m fucking sick and tired of these pigs busting my balls everytime my car smells like weed. I am a wartime army infantry veteran, I have no crimal record, and weed is the only drug a do. Why should I have to deal with drug dealrs, sneak around in the shadows? Weed keeps me creative, calm, relaxed, happy, and helps me sleep good. So I say fuck the police who choose to enforce these bullshit laws and fuck their “Tizzy.”

Hope Steffey a Woman Falsely Convicted

Sheriff Swanson has ALWAYS maintained that Steffey was ASKED & REFUSED to remove her cloths.
But here’s the BCI’s OWN REPORT that PROVES this is a LIE!
And then they try to explain away their first lie with another lie, about why it was done this way without asking Steffey to do it voluntarily.
They are trying to say that Steffey was resisting enough that EIGHT people couldn’t take the chance of ASKING her to remove her cloths, or EVEN TELL HER WHAT WAS GOING ON!!!
What a crock!!

I did NOT see any resisting in the video, I saw eight cops parading her to the cell, with her in cuffs.

In fact EVERY video I have seen she is in cuffs!
And the ONLY times I have seen her react to the cops is after they have assaulted her or in the process of stripping her naked.

But apparently catching the sheriff’s dept in a lie isn’t a big deal to our “independent” BCI investigator, Christy Palmer, who seems ready to accept ANY excuse the sheriff’s dept wants to use.

The report also goes on to say that they lowered Steffey in a slow controlled manner to the floor. Except that Steffey says she was thrown to the floor.
She also told her husband in a phone call that she thought the cops had broken her nose.
And she was treated by the nurse for the injury.
And in page 4 of this report Christy Palmer even states that Steffey reported that her nose was making “crunching noises”.

So I guess this is proof of a second LIE! (Or third)

And still Christy Palmer, the “independent investigator” doesn’t think twice about accepting the word of the cops over the VICTIMS in spite of proof.
BTW, Christy also references a video that she says “proves that she was lowered in a slow controlled manner to the floor”. As far as I know, THIS would have to be on the ’non-existent’ beginning of the strip video.
On May 5th when I asked about the “missing” video, I was told it would soon be released.
Now here again it looks as though it’s referenced…even though they NOW claim it does not exist.
Interesting. (I have filed a request for this video.)

This isn’t so much an investigation report as it is a smear campaign against Hope Steffey.

The cops can polish this turd as much as want, this STILL STINKS!

BTW I don’t know why they bothered to black out the names of Nurse Coren Lennon and the jail psychologist Thomas Anuszkiewicz, aren’t they PROUD of the work they do?
